Charity Begins at Nursery
Charity support is high on the agenda amongst the First Steps team. Regular theme days take place within nursery throughout the year to promote national events.
Most recently, the nursery has raised money to support Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, Children in Need, NSPCC Number Day as well as the Childrens’ Heart Surgery Fund.
Last year, the First Steps Team took part in a sponsored walk round Eccup reservoir to raise funds to help the NSPCC.
The staff have also just completed an autumnal sponsored walk along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
