Thriving in the Toddler Room

Independence is largely promoted and self-help skills develop as each child is encouraged to practise and learn how to do specific tasks for themselves. Every effort is praised and achievements are celebrated to promote self- esteem and develop self-confidence along the way.
In the toddler room, the children have the opportunity to explore and investigate with a vast range of natural resources enabling them to learn through play both inside and as much as possible, outdoors in the natural world.

Since each child develops at a different pace, academic focuses are introduced in small bursts when each toddler is ready to face their next challenge.
