First Steps Nursery treat every child like an individual. The partnership we’ve created has meant that my son has grown in confidence and overcome challenges. I’m grateful to the staff, who always listen to my concerns, for their dedication, patience and compassion.

We have sent both our children to First Steps and they have both had a brilliant experience. The nursery has a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children are encouraged to play. First Steps is a fantastic nursery with extremely caring and nurturing staff. The nursery is very organised and well managed, with a great mix of ages in staff profile. We sent both our children to First Steps, they have both thrived and had brilliant experiences, which has contributed to giving them a head start to early years and progressing onto school. We particularly like how the staff foster personal relationships with both children and their parents. We are parents feel very confident leaving our child in the environment of First Steps. Both my children have attended First Steps and have truly flourished, both socially and educationally. The environment and the staff at the nursery are fantastic—it’s such a warm, supportive place. We have used First Steps for over 5 years; from day one we have felt comfortable knowing that our children are in the safest of hands with amazing and caring staff. The small nature of the nursery is what appealed to us initially; it gives it a real welcoming family feel.

I couldn’t be happier with the care provided by First Steps. Both of my children have developed significantly thanks to nursery’s input and, most importantly, they have thoroughly enjoyed their time there. I’m particularly impressed by the way nursery instills a sense of independence into the children, and explores issues of diversity through appropriate activities.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and cannot be faulted in this regard. They have lovely relationships with the children and understand and respect parental concerns, even if they’re in relation to seemingly trivial matters.

We looked round a few nurseries before choosing one. First Steps stood out for us and we were in no way surprised by its Outstanding Ofsted rating. That view has only been cemented in the time since.
